Moscow has lost over 75,000 troops in Ukraine either killed or injured so far, U.S. House of Representatives lawmakers told U.S. news channel CNN following a classified briefing at the White House on July 27.

White House officials told members of Congress that the invading Russian forces are exhausted, while Ukraine is building up reserves for a southern counter-offensive – which is expected to be launched before this winter.

“We were briefed that over 75,000 Russians have either been killed or wounded, which is huge, you've got incredible amounts of investment in their land forces, over 80% of their land forces are bogged down, and they're tired,” Representative Elissa Slotkin (D-MI) said.
