The Russian military carried out an airstrike on the city of Bakhmut in Donetsk Oblast on June 12, Dom TV channel correspondent Anastasia Volkova reported on June 13.

According to her, the blast wave caused by the airstrike broke the windows in many houses. Civilians have been trapped in their own homes due to jammed steel doors.

The State Emergency Service of Ukraine is trying to cut open doors to help people evacuate and receive medical care.

Fires also broke out in several places, Dom said.

In recent days, Russians have continued to carry out assault operations in the settlements to the southwest and southeast of Izyum, trying to resume an offensive on Slovyansk and Siversk in Donetsk Oblast.
