The Russian military apparently believes that the Ukrainian army is targeting their bases in Crimea by using signals from soldiers' electronic gadgets, the Department of Strategic Communications of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said in a report posted on Sept. 14.

In order to “secure” themselves from new attacks, the Russian command, instead of using the traditional tinfoil helmets, is confiscating the smartphones and laptops of their subordinates and nailing them to an information stand – as evidenced by a photo from one of the invaders’ bases, Ukraine’s armed forces communications department said.

“The Russian fascists made a display stand with smartphones and laptops taken from the soldiers,” the Ukrainian military said.

“They’re afraid that Ukrainian missiles are aimed precisely at their gadgets ... They’re making NATO and ICEYE satellites cry with laughter.”
