Three people were killed and another 16 were injured as a result of a Russian missile attack on the city of Dnipro late on July 15, Dnipropetrovsk Governor Valentyn Reznichenko said in a Telegram messenger post on July 16.
"Rescuers have put out one outbreak of fire at an industrial enterprise in Dnipro, which was hit by a missile late evening, while another one is still being extinguished," he said.
"According to confirmed data, the evening attack on our region took three lives, 16 people were injured."
Reznichenko added that the Zelenodolsk, Apostolove and Shyroke territorial communities had been attacked in the Kryvyi Rih district. A house was damaged in Shestirnia, and a fire broke out in a private yard. Fortunately, theer were no casualties as a result of the shelling.
Russia attacked Dnipropetrovsk Oblast overnight on July 16. In total, the invaders launched six missiles at Dnipro and the region, four of which were shot down by Ukraine's air defense.
The missiles hit an industrial enterprise and a street next to it in Dnipro, killing three people. The scale of destruction is being established.
