Russian missile attack on Zaporizhzhya Oblast kills two, injures three people, incl. baby

Russian occupying forces launched a new missile strike on the village of Novosofiyivka village in Zaporizhzhya Oblast, having killed two and injured three people, the deputy head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Kyrylo Tymoshenko, said on Telegram on Dec. 5.
Among the injured is a baby who is one year and ten months old.
Several houses were destroyed,he added.
Rescuers and paramedics arrived at the scene.
The secretary of Zaporizhzhya City Council, Anatolii Kurtyev, said several explosions had been heard in the city of Zaporizhzhya itself. These were both missiles that hit the outskirts of the city and that were intercepted by Ukraine’s air defense forces.
On Dec. 5, Russia mounted another wave of mass missile strikes on Ukraine.
