Russian missile strike on infrastructure outside Kropyvnytskyi kills three, injures 13

Three people were killed and another 13 were injured as a result of a Russian missile attack on infrastructure facilities outside the city of Kropyvnytskyi early on July 23, regional governor Andriy Raikovych told Ukrainian national television.

At least one Ukrainian soldier is among the dead. In addition, according to preliminary data, two employees of a departmental security unit, guarding a transformer substation, were also killed.

Raikovych said that the invaders had launched eight Kalibr sea-based missiles and five X-22 missiles from a Tu-22M3 aircraft. They hit the Kanatove military airfield and a railway facility.

"Rescue teams and ordnance technicians are working at the scene," the governor said.

"Part of one of the city’s neighborhood has been left without electricity. Emergency crews from the regional power distribution company are working to restore service."
