At least five people were killed and 18 more were injured as a result of an April 25 missile strike by Russia on transport infrastructure near the towns of Zhmerynka and Koziatyn in Vinnytsia Oblast, the regional prosecutor's office reported on Facebook.

Russian forces launched a missile strike on Vinnytsia Oblast early on April 25. The Ukrainian state-owned railway company, Ukrzaliznytsia, reported that some sections of the railway were left without power due to damage to traction substations.

The SBU security service's office in Vinnytsia Oblast has initiated criminal proceedings under Part 3 of Article 110 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (will full actions committed to change the territorial boundaries or national borders of Ukraine if they caused the killing of people or any other grave consequences).
