Russian missile strikes kill two, injures five civilians in Kharkiv Oblast

Two civilians were killed and another five injured in the past day after Russia launched missile strikes in Kharkiv Oblast, the regional governor, Oleh Syniehubov, said in a Telegram messenger post on June 27.

"In Chuhuiv district, a 21-year-old woman and a 57-year-old woman were killed as a result of Russian shelling," he said.

"Two more people were injured. The shells hit outbuildings, and a street gas pipeline was damaged. In Kharkivskiy district (of Kharkiv Oblast), three more civilians received blast injuries in the Russian shelling."

According to Syniehubov, the city of Kharkiv's Kyiv and Shevchenkivskyi districts also came under attack by the Russians. A Russian missile fell in the schoolyard, while another one hit an office building.
