Russian attack on power station in Kyiv kills one and wounds seven

Russian missiles struck two power stations in Kyiv on the morning of Oct. 18, killing one person and wounding another seven, the privately-owned DTEK Energo power company reported on its page on Facebook.
The injured have been promptly provided with medical assistance and taken to hospital. One of the wounded died on the way.
On the morning of Oct. 18, Russia once again carried out a strike on Kyiv, hitting at least one of the city’s power stations on the left bank.
There were two wounded in Zhytomyr after a Russian attack on energy infrastructure overnight. Meanwhile, as a result of a Russian missile and suicide drone attack on Zaporizhzhia, a fire broke out at an infrastructure facility.
Russian forces struck Mykolaiv with S-300 missiles on Oct. 18 overnight, killing one person.
Russia conducted a mass attack against Kyiv with Iranian suicide drones the day before. The first strike caused a fire in an office building and damaged a number of residential houses, while the second, in the city center, struck an apartment building and killed at least three people, including a pregnant woman and her husband.
