Early in the morning, Russia launched at least 10 missiles at Mykolayiv, attacking two major universities in the city, local governor Vitaliy Kim said in a Twitter post on July 15.

“Terrorist Russia attacked two of Mykolayiv’s largest universities with at least 10 missiles today; they are targeting our education now,” said Kim.

He called on universities across the free world to condemn Russia as a terrorist state.

Mykolayiv Mayor Oleksandr Senkevych said at least two people were injured in the attack; further casualty reports will be coming in, as emergency workers are working on site.

“This time Russians struck Mykolayiv at 07:50 a.m., well-aware the streets are usually already full of people at this hour; bonafide terrorists,” said Senkevych.

A hotel, a mall, and a school in Mykolayiv were damaged in another Russian attack on July 14.
