Weeks after their failed mutiny, the Wagner
Group PMC has transferred its military equipment to Russia’s Defense
Ministry, the ministry reported via Telegram on July 12.
The ministry reported the transfer of over 2,000 units of military equipment and weapons from Wagner to the Russian military proper.
The message listed hundreds of tanks, rocket artillery systems, Pantsir air defense systems, self-propelled howitzers, armored personnel carriers, and mortars, among other equipment as transferred to the Russian army.
In addition, the ministry states that the Russian army has received over 2,500 tons of ammunition and around 20,000 units of small arms from the Wagner Group.
The message concludes by saying that the seized equipment will now be transported back to Russia for maintenance and prepared for future use.
