Russian invading forces have tried to carry out an offensive in the directions of Dovhenke and Dmytrivka villages in the Kharkiv Oblast, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has reported on Facebook.

“With the forces of up to two battalion tactical groups, the enemy tried to carry out an offensive in the directions of Dovhenke and Dmytrivka, but was not successful and retreated to previously occupied positions,” the update reads.

In the Donetsk direction, the invaders have been trying to capture the settlements of Popasna, Rubizhne, Nyzhnie and Novobakhmutivka, as well as to establish full control over the strategic city of Mariupol.
