The Metropolitan of the Vinnytsia Diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church has been charged with publicly justifying armed Russian aggression, Ukraine's SBU security service reported on Jan. 10.
"A person involved in criminal proceedings had distributed Russian propaganda leaflets, where he called the faithful to seize power and change Ukrainian borders,” the SBU said.

“Also, he had published materials in support of Russian occupiers and their war crimes.”
According to the SBU, they have completed their investigation into the matter and have submitted the relevant documents to court.
The alleged collaborator faces up to 8 years of prison, if found guilty.
