Russian drone attack kills one, injures six in Zaporizhzhya

Russian forces struck Zaporizhzhya with strike drones and guided aerial bombs overnight, killing one person and injuring six others, regional governor Ivan Fedorov reported on Aug. 19.
Direct impacts damaged residential and commercial structures across the city and sparked a fire at one of the affected sites.
He showed the photos of the attack aftermath early in the morning.
Zaporizhzhya has faced repeated Russian bombardments in recent days.
On Aug. 17, a Russian drone struck a gardening community within the city, killing a 43-year-old man and a 41-year-old woman.
