A 63-year-old man was killed in a Russian strike on the town of Kupyansk in Kharkiv Oblast early on Feb. 28, regional governor Oleh Synegubov said in a Telegram messenger post.

According to the governor, several residential buildings were destroyed as a result of the shelling.

In addition, the Russians hit a recreation park and damaged a kindergarten.

“The Russian invaders continue to deliberately attack the civilian infrastructure and civilians of Kharkiv Oblast,” Synegubov said.
