Russian troops ‘demoralized and suffering heavy losses’ – Ukraine’s General Staff

Ukraine’s soldiers are successfully repelling the Russian invaders, and halting the advances of enemy battalion tactical groups, the General Staff of Ukraine’s Armed Forces said in Feb. 28.
According to the message, one Ukrainian brigade has destroyed over five columns of Russian military equipment and personnel.
“The enemy is demoralized and is suffering heavy losses,” the message reads.
“There is widespread desertion and insubordination (among the Russian military); the enemy realized that reality is quite different from (their) propaganda; the would-be occupiers are afraid of us.”

Ukrainians continue their staunch defense of the country, the message says.
