Invading Russian troops are engaged in looting and robbery in the town of Trostianets in Sumy Oblast, Dmytro Zhyvytsky, the head of Sumy Regional Military Administration, said in a video posted on Facebook on March 2.

“The enemy’s looting has gained serious momentum,” he said.

“The Russian military is starving, not only do they keep raiding grocery stores, but are already getting into the houses. It often happens that they get into houses, pull people out and take food and clothes from them.”

Zhyvytsky said the invaders had robbed a second-hand store to change into civilian clothes.

“We suspect that they want to return to their homeland (in these clothes),” he added.

Earlier the invaders occupied the town of Trostianets. They demolished the gate to the Round Yard, a small castle, with a tank, smashed up the art gallery and set up a headquarters.
