Russian troops shell Kherson's critical infrastructure, cause total blackout of city

Kherson was completely blacked out as a result of the Russian occupying forces' shelling, Kherson Oblast Governor Yaroslav Yanushevych said on his Telegram channel on Dec. 15.
"Heavy shelling is ongoing in Korabelnyi District," the governor said.
Yanushevych added the repair work will begin at the earliest opportunity.
Since retreating from Kherson, Russian invasion forces have shelled the liberated city in southern Ukraine almost every day. On Dec. 12, two people were killed and another five injured as a result of enemy's shelling.
On Dec. 14, Russian troops shelled the center of the regional capital and heavily damaged the Kherson Oblast Administration building.
Six people were wounded in the Russian artillery strike on that day. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported that an 8-year-old boy had been killed in the enemy attack.
On Dec. 15, Russia carried out anither strike on the center of Kherson and hit a medical aid station. Two people were killed and two more injured.
