Russian invading troops launched an attack on the town of Pokrovsk in Donetsk Oblast on the morning of Feb. 15, hitting a multi-story building, according to a report by Donetsk Oblast Governor Pavlo Kyrylenko via Telegram messenger.
Two people were injured, the governor stated.
He published a photo of the damaged five-story building, where apartments on the last floor are clearly destroyed.
According to preliminary reports, the invaders used missiles against the town.
The head of Pokrovsk military administration, Serhiy Dobriak added, that the building was hit at about 10:00 a.m., Ukrainian Suspilne TV reported.
"There is almost no fifth floor anymore," he said.

Rescuers have been clearing up the debris as of publication time.

The situation in Donetsk Oblast remains tough as Russian troops have constantly shelled the settlements across the region.

In the past day, the Russian invaders shelled Chasiv Yar with multiple launch rocket systems, and attacked Kostyantynivka with missiles. The Russian army continues to storm the area of Bakhmut and Vuhledar.
