Russian troops are trying to hold captured territories, attempting to repel Ukrainian forces in certain areas, and continuing to equip defensive lines on the east bank of the Dnipro, the Ukrainian military’s General Staff said in its morning report on Facebook on Nov. 15.
The Russian military is conducting offensives on the Bakhmut, Avdiyivka and Novopavlivka parts of the front in Donetsk Oblast.
Over the past day, units of the Defense Forces repelled the Russian attacks in the areas around several settlements: Novoselivske in Luhansk Oblast; and Bilohorivka, Bakhmut, Maryinka, and six others in Donetsk Oblast.
Over the past day, Russians conducted four missile strikes and 23 air strikes, and fired over 70 times using multiple launch rocket system.
Russian troops also carried out attacks:
- on the Siverskyi axis - using mortars, artillery and rockets in the areas of five settlements of Sumy Oblast;
- on the Slobozhanskyi axis - using artillery of various types in the areas of seven settlements of Kharkiv Oblast;
- on the Kupyansk and Lyman axes - using tanks, mortars, artillery and rockets in the areas of eight settlements of Kharkiv Oblast; Berestove, Ivanivka of Donetsk Oblast; and five settlements in Luhansk Oblast;
- on the Bakhmut axis - using tanks and artillery of various types in the areas of Bakhmut, Bilohorivka, Soledar, Toretsk and 10 other settlements in Donetsk Oblast;
- on the Avdiyivka axis - using tanks, mortars, artillery and rockets in the areas of Avdiyivka, Maryinka and five other settlements of Donetsk Oblast;
- on the Novopavlivka axis - using tanks, mortars, artillery and rockets in the areas of Vuhledar and nine other settlements of Donetsk Oblast;
- on the Zaporizhzhya axis - using tanks and the entire range of artillery in the areas of seven settlements;
- on the Kherson axis - using mortars, artillery and rockets in the areas of three settlements of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast; and four settlements of Kherson Oblast.
