At least three people were killed and five wounded when invading Russian forces in Kherson Oblast fired an anti-tank missile at a bus carrying civilians away from the active warzone, Ukraine’s Operational Command South said in a Facebook post on Aug. 2.
“The Russians fired an anti-tank missile at a civilian bus near Dolhove,” the message said.
“Three dead, five wounded civilians. The injured are being treated in hospital.”
The attack was initially reported by the Head of the Military Administration of Kryvyi Rih, Oleksandr Vilkul, on Aug. 1. Initial casualty figures were lower – two dead and two injured.
