Russians fire six missiles at Mykolaiv, one person injured – regional authorities

Russian troops fired six missiles at the southern Ukrainian city of Mykolaiv on the morning of July 11, announced regional governor Vitaliy Kim on Telegram.

According to preliminary reports, one person was injured. Information on the number of victims is being verified.

"On the morning of July 11, there were explosions in Mykolaiv," Kim said.

“The information is being verified. Currently, we believe (it was) six missiles. So far, there are no deaths (one person was injured)”.

Russian forces shelled the community of Shyroke in Mykolaiv Oblast several times on July 10. They struck the already destroyed building of the Central National Academy of Sciences, a school, residential buildings, and outdoor areas of households.

Shelling of villages along the demarcation line in the community of Bereznehuvate is also ongoing.

In Mykolaivskiy District, shelling of the settlement of Shevchenkove was recorded, as a result of which a restaurant burned down. Following the shelling of the village of Lymany, a field with crops and a strip of forest caught fire.

Russia is systematically attacking Mykolaiv with missiles and other types of weapons, with projectiles hitting civilian infrastructure facilities.

Earlier, on July 9, the Russian military struck the city with six S-300 missiles.
