A Russian missile strike on the town of Ochakiv in Mykolayiv Oblast has killed one person, Ukraine’s public broadcaster reported on June 19, citing the Ukrainian military’s Operational Command South.
The military says that the strike was intended to hit port infrastructure, but struck a residential home and damaged several nearby buildings. Two people were injured as a result, and one was killed.
Information on the total losses and destruction as a result of the strike is being clarified.
The day before, Russians shot seven missiles at the city of Mykolayiv, destroying infrastructure and causing at least 16 casualties.
