Russian sabotage and reconnaissance groups continue to plague the Dnipro Delta area in southern Ukraine, Natalia Humeniuk, head of the Joint Coordination Press Center of the Southern Defense Forces, said on the Espresso TV channel on Feb. 13.

She said the Russian military has stepped up the activities of its sabotage and reconnaissance groups in an attempt to stretch the resources of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

The Russian troops are focusing their main efforts on the Zaporizhzhya axis, noted Humeniuk.

On Feb. 8, Russia also sent out sabotage and reconnaissance groups in southern Ukraine, but their plans were thwarted by Ukrainian defenders.

Video of day

Earlier, the Ukrainian military posted video of a Ukrainian drone dropping bombs on a boat used by Russian invasion forces to move around the waterways next to the city of Kherson, across the river in Russian-held territory.
