Two dead as Russians attack car with anti-tank missiles near border in Kharkiv Oblast
Russian forces attacked a civilian car with an anti-tank weapon near the border village of Strilecha in Kharkiv Oblast on Sept. 16, killing two people and injuring another, the local prosecutor's office reported on the Telegram messenger app.
Preliminary information suggests that the Russians attacked the car using anti-tank guided missiles.
As of 3 p.m., it was confirmed that two civilians, a man and a woman, had been killed in the Russian attack, while one other civilian had been injured. Further details regarding the aftermath of the attack are still being determined.
Additionally, today around 11 a.m., Russian forces shelled the village of Petropavlivka in the oblast’s Kupyansk District with artillery. A 23-year-old civilian man sustained injuries as a result of the shelling.
Around the same time, the invaders also targeted the town of Kozacha Lopan with artillery, damaging residential buildings and kiosks.
