Russians shell Kharkiv Oblast, ambulance on call comes under fire in Kupyansk

Russian forces struck the city of Kupyansk, Kharkiv Oblast, with S-300 anti-aircraft missile systems on the night of Dec. 13 and in the morning, with an ambulance coming under enemy fire, regional governor Oleg Synegubov reported on Telegram.
Synegubov said the Russian military shelled the city of Kharkiv, Chuhuiv, Izyum and Kupyansk districts with mortars and artillery.
On the Kupyansk section of front, the enemy carried out attacks using tanks and all types of artillery near the settlements of Kyslivka, Kotlyarivka, Tabayivka and Berestove. According to preliminary reports, there were no casualties from the attacks.
At night, the Russian troops launched a S-300 missile attack on Kupyansk. The missile hit a two-story administrative building, causing a fire to spread over an area of 400 square meters. The building was completely destroyed. No one was killed or injured in the attack.
Shortly after 4 a.m. a paramedic — 54-year-old man — was wounded as a result of the shelling of an ambulance that was on its way to a call in Kupyansk. The blast wave from an explosion broke the vehicle’s windshield.
