Hollywood actor and director Sean Penn came to his meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy wearing the boots made by the Ukrainian brand Dneprovskiy Bukin that he was presented with this summer.
The owner of the brand shared the news on Instagram, saying they couldn't believe it.
"It's become a habit – Sean Penn wears our boots all the time. We appreciate his trust. It's unbelievable. Fantastic!" the message reads.
During his Nov. 8 visit, Penn loaned one of his Oscar statuettes to President Zelenskyy. The statuette will remain in Kyiv until Ukraine defeats Russia, he said. It was Penn's third wartime visit to Ukraine.
Zelenskyy thanked the Hollywood star for his support for Ukraine and the Ukrainian people, and updated him about the situation in the country.
Penn said he was continuing to work on a documentary about Ukraine.
