For the second time in less than 24 hours, Russia has fired rockets at the bridge across the Dniester estuary in Odesa Oblast, according to the state railway company chief Oleksandr Kamyshin on Telegram messenger on April 27.
Infrastructure damage will be determined after the end of the air raid alert, however no injuries were sustained by railway workers following the 6:45 am attack.
The Odesa military administration confirmed the incident and noted that the bridge had been destroyed.
This comes after the first strike on the same bridge just after midday on April 26. The mayor of the nearby town of Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi said that traffic would not resume immediately and recommended commuters use alternative routes.
