Mutual shelling with the use of cannon and rocket artillery continues along the contact line on the Pivdennyi Buh axis, Ukraine’s General Staff reported on Facebook on July 18.
Invading Russian forces also launched an airstrike near Potiomkine.
To detect changes in the position of the Ukrainian troops and correct their fire, the Russian troops conducted aerial reconnaissance using UAVs.
Meanwhile, enemy ships continue to block civilian shipping in the northwestern part of the Black Sea, despite on-going negotiations in Turkey on the opening of a trade corridor to stave off possible global hunger.
