Slavutych residents told to stay indoors due to Russian sniper activity
The residents of the Ukrainian northern town of Slavutych, which is located close to the Chornobyl nuclear power plant, have been ordered to stay indoors due to the activity of Russian snipers, Slavutych City Council wrote on Facebook on March 25.
"Attention! Everyone is banned from moving around the town, including driving cars. Snipers are working. Maximum repost!" reads the report.
Earlier Kyiv Regional Military Administration reported that Slavutych had been completely surrounded by invading Russian forces and faced a humanitarian disaster.
On March 24, Russian invaders made attempts to storm the town as they shelled Ukrainian checkpoints.
