Germany has arranged for the repair of its donated Panzerhaubitze 2000 self-propelled howitzer in Slovakia, German Ambassador to Ukraine Anka Feldhusen said at a briefing on March 22.

Germany donated 22 units of the Panzerhaubitze 2000 to the Ukrainian military in 2022.

"This process of servicing, especially Panzerhaubitze, in Slovakia has been going on for a long time, but yesterday a document was finally signed that these Panzerhaubitze are now going directly to Slovakia, which is not so far away," the diplomat stated.

According to Feldhusen, Germany has always insisted that tanks and other weapons should be provided not only with training, but also with spare parts and maintenance.

On March 17, Slovakia's acting defense minister, Jaroslav Nad’, signed an intergovernmental agreement with Ukraine to transfer MiG-29 fighter jets and Kub air defense systems.
