The Spanish military said a touching farewell to the Ukrainian soldiers who had been training in the country, as shown in a video published by the editor-in-chief of Censor.Net Yuriy Butusov on May 25.
"Ukrainian soldiers are given a touching farewell from the training in Spain," he captioned the video.
Spanish soldiers salute Ukrainian troops, and some can't hold back their tears in the clip.
Nearly 200 Ukrainian servicemen have completed their two-month training at Toledo Infantry Academy in Spain. This was the third batch of Ukrainian troops who completed training in Spain since November 2022.
By March 31, 639 Ukrainian soldiers had been trained in Spain. That number rose to 865 by April 14 after another group finished their training abroad.
