The body of a one year old boy has been pulled out of the debris of a residential building destroyed in a Russianmissile attack on Kryvyi Rih, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast Governor Valentyn Reznichenko said on Telegram on Dec. 17. His parents were found dead the day before.
"After midnight, the body of a one and a half-year-old boy was pulled out of the rubble," he said.
In total, four people are currently believed to have been killed by a Russian missile strike on the city on Dec. 16 – a young couple and child, and a 64-year-old woman. Thirteen people, including four children, were injured.
The enemy also continued to shell the oblast's Nikopol district following the strike, Reznichenko said, catching two local communities under heavy artillery fire. Houses and power lines were damaged, he reported, but there were no known casualties.
On Dec. 16, Russia carried out a new massive missile strike across Ukraine, targeting energy infrastructure.
