The Operational Command “North” reported on Telegram on July 7 that two Russian tanks with a crew inside were recovered from the bottom of the river in the Menska community of Chernihiv Oblast.

One of the T-72 tanks sank in February. Two Russian servicemen were found inside, with the driver's seat empty.

In the second T-72 tank, which was brought to the surface on July 6, the complete crew was discovered — consisting of three Russian soldiers.

Deputy chief of the Main Operations Department of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksiy Hromov said on July 7 that the Russian military has been building up equipment near the borders of Chernihiv and Sumy oblasts and may increase the intensity of shelling of the Ukrainian territory on these axes.
