The United Kingdom has imposed sanctions against Oksana Marchenko, the wife of former MP and high treason suspect Viktor Medvedchuk, the Office of Financial Sanctions of the UK Treasury reported on April 12.
In addition to Marchenko, relatives of Russian oligarchs Suleiman Kerimov, Andrei Skoch and Vladimir Evtushenkov have also been sanctioned.
Sanctions were additionally imposed on four companies associated with Roman Abramovich and Alisher Usmanov.
As a result, their property and funds in the United Kingdom have been frozen.
In Ukraine, Marchenko has been added to the wanted list. The website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs states that Marchenko "disappeared" on March 24, 2023.
She is accused of financing actions committed with the aim of forcible seizure or overthrow of the constitutional order or seizure of state power (Part 3 of Article 110-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
