Ukrainian air defenses shot down three Kalibr-type sea-based cruise missiles over western Khmelnytskyi Oblast on July 24, which had been launched by the Russian invaders from the Black Sea, the West Air Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said in a Facebook post.

"Today, the enemy launched missiles on the territory of our region," the region's governor Serhiy Hamaliy said on Telegram messenger.

"All of them were shot down by air defense forces. Many thanks to them for this!"

Explosions rocked Khmelnytskyi Oblast during an air raid alert at about 9.00 a.m.
