The Armed Forces of Ukraine attacked and destroyed a Russian ammunition depot near Mykolaiv, along with up to 20 military vehicles, Ukraine’s General Staff said in a Facebook update on May 7.

“In the settlement of Ivano-Kepyne, local defenders destroyed an ammo depot and as many as 20 units of enemy military equipment,” the message reads.

Russian artillery continues to pummel the positions held by Ukrainian troops in the south of the country.

Mykolaiv’s civilian infrastructure came under Russian missile and multiple rocket launcher fire, according to the General Staff.
