77 missiles downed by Ukraine during Russian mass strike, reports General Staff

Russia carried out another mass missile and drone strike on Ukraine’s military and civilian infrastructure on Nov. 15. Ukraine's General Staff reported damaged residential buildings and crucial infrastructure facilities in Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Vinnytsia, Poltava, Lviv, Khmelnytskyi and other oblasts.
According to them, 77 cruise missiles, 10 Iranian-made Shahed-136 suicide drones, and an Orion armed UAV were downed by Ukrainian air defense during the attack.
In total, Russia is believed to have launched over 90 X-101 and Kalibr missiles, and over 10 attack drones.
Meanwhile, invading Russian forces continue to shell Ukrainian positions and settlements at and near the frontline. Russian troops carried out 43 air strikes and over 40 shelling attacks from multiple rocket launcher systems in the past 24 hours, including:
- in Siverske direction — with artillery of various calibers in the areas of the settlements Krasnopillia, Ryzhivka, Kondrativka and Slavhorod in Sumy Oblast;
- in the Sloboda direction — with mortars, rockets, and artillery in the areas of the settlements of Vovchansk, Kamianka, Starytsia, Strilecha, Hlyboke, Ternova, Kozacha Lopan and Hoptivka;
- in the Kupyansk and Lyman directions — with tanks and artillery of various calibers in the areas of the settlements Berestove, Novoselivske, Stelmakhivka, Nevske, Terny, Ploshchanka, Kyslivka, Makiivka, Zarichne, Bilohorivka and Spirne;
- in the Bakhmut direction — using tanks and artillery in the areas of the settlements Soledar, Andriyivka, Bakhmut, Bakhmutske, Kurdyumivka, Ozarianivka, Zelenopillia, Yakovlivka, New York and Opytne;
- in the Avdiyivka direction — using tanks, mortars, artillery, and rockets in the areas of the settlements Avdiyivka, Vodyane, Nevelske, Maryinka, Novomykhailivka and Novokalynove;
- in the Novopavlivsk directions — with tanks and artillery of various calibers in the areas of the settlements Bohoyavlenka, Velyka Novosilka, Vremivka, Vuhledar, Pavlivka and Prechystivka;
- in the Zaporizhzhia direction — with tanks and artillery of various calibers in the areas of the settlements Zaliznychne, Shcherbaky, Terminivka, Stepnohirsk, Bilohiria, Dorozhniaka, Malynivka, Olehivske, Novopil and Huliyapole;
- in the Kherson direction — with artillery of various calibers in the areas of the settlements Illinka, Dudchan, Kachkarivka and Prydniprovske.
