Despite heavy losses of equipment and manpower, the enemy is still trying to seize more territory. It focuses its assault attempts in and around Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiyivka and Mariyinka in Donetsk Oblast. Ukrainian forces repelled 52 enemy attacks in these areas over the past day alone.

In the Volyn, Polissia, Siverskyi and Slobozhanskyi areas, the operational situation remains unchanged. Russia continues to deploy its troops in Belarus.

The enemy remains present in the areas bordering Ukraine in Russia’s Kursk and Belgorod oblasts, and is reinforcing the area.

Over the past 24 hours, Russia shelled the settlements of Hremyach and Kamianska Sloboda in Chernihiv Oblast; Katerynivka, Volfine, Andriivka and Popivka in Sumy Oblast; and Veterynarne, Strilecha, Staritisa, Hatyshche, Vovchanski Khutory, Okhrimivka, Mala Vovcha and Vilkhuvatka in Kharkiv Oblast.

In the Lyman area, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensives near Makiyivka, Chervonopopivka and Bilohorivka. The settlements of Novoyehorivka, Makiyivka, Nevske and Bilohorivka in Luhansk Oblast, as well as Torske, Spirne and Berestove in Donetsk Oblast, came under artillery fire.

In the Bakhmut area, Russian troops have continued its offensive for more than eight months, trying to capture the city of Bakhmut. Its defense is ongoing. They also tried to attack near Hryhorivka and Khromove in the past day, without success. The settlements of Vasyukivka, Zaliznyanske, Minkivka, Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Bakhmut, Khromove, Ivanivske, Predtechine, Chasiv Yar, Ozaryanivka, Druzhba and New York in Donetsk Oblast were hit by Russian shelling.

In the Avdiyivka and Mariyinka sections of the front, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive actions near the settlements of Avdiyivka, Sieverne, Nevelske and Mariyinka in Donetsk Oblast. Fierce fighting is continuing for Avdiyivka and Mariyinka. Meanwhile, Novokalynove, Pervomaiske, Krasnohorivka, Hostre, Heorhiyivka, and Pobeda in Donetsk Oblast came under Russian fire.

In the Shakhtarsk area, no offensive actions were conducted over the past day. The settlements of Novomykhaylivka, Vuhledar, Bohoyavlenka and Velyka Novosilka in Donetsk Oblast came under Russian fire.

In the Zaporizhzhya and Kherson sections of the front, Russian troops are defending their positions and shelling settlements close to the frontline, in particular Vremivka in Donetsk Oblast; and Novodanylivka, Orikhiv, Novoandriivka and Kamyanske in Zaporizhzhia Oblast.

The Russians are continuing to repress Ukrainians in the occupied areas. Employees of Snizhne's hospital in Donetsk Oblast were fired because they refused to obtain Russian passports.

Locals must obtain a permit to move around the city of Enerhodar in Zaporizhzhya Oblast. After applying for the permits, people are subjected to intense scrutiny for the support of the Ukrainian defense forces. Russian occupiers even search people's homes.

Ukrainian aircraft performed eight strikes on the areas of occupiers' personnel and equipment concentration, as well as on a multiple rocket launcher.

A Russian Mi-24 helicopter and nine UAVs of various types were shot down over the past day.

Ukrainian missile and artillery forces also hit a concertation of personnel and equipment, and an ammunition depot.
