Ukraine has put forward its proposals for ending the Russian war against Ukraine, says Zelensky
Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky has said that Ukraine is ready to end the war that Russian launched again, in a video address published on March 19.
Recalling the losses that Russia had suffered since the start of its invasion of Ukraine, Zelensky noted that’s Russia’s military seems to have run out of ideas.
“It seems that they do not know what else can be done with us,” Zelensky said.
“It seems that their military commanders are not able to offer their political leadership anything but cruel and erroneous tactics to exhaust us, to exhaust Ukraine.”
The President also mentioned a recent rally held at Moscow’s Luzhniki Stadium, dedicated to the anniversary of Russia’s annexation of Crimea, and said that about 200,000 people were involved in the rallies in the aggressor country’s capital.
“The same number of Russian troops was involved in the invasion of Ukraine,” the President pointed out.
“Just imagine 14,000 corpses and tens of thousands of wounded and maimed people at that stadium in Moscow. There are so many Russian losses as a result of this invasion. This is the price of war. In a little more than three weeks. The war must be stopped. The Ukrainian proposal is on the table.”
