A pin-point strike by Ukrainian forces killed 16 invaders and destroyed 12 units of military equipment in the Russian-occupied city of Shchastya in Luhansk Oblast on Dec. 16, the Ukrainian government’s National Resistance Center reported on Dec. 18.
About 40 more Russians were admitted to hospital with injuries of varying severity, the center said.
The Russians had set up a headquarters in a local school, but two days later they were struck by high-precision artillery. The strike was made possible thanks to joint work by partisans and the Ukrainian Armed forces, the center said.
The National Resistance Center said that every resident of Russian-occupied territories can bring closer the moment of liberation of their settlement.
Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Russia has lost about 98,280 of its soldiers, including 590 in the past day.
The National Resistance Center was set up with the aim of teaching Ukraine’s civilian population ways to resist the Russian invasion force.
The center maintains contact with resistance networks behind enemy lines, briefs the media on events, and runs a YouTube channel with news and videos for guerilla fighters
