In a successful advance, Ukraine’s army has liberated five settlements in Kharkiv Oblast from Russian occupation – Oleksandrivka, Fedorivka, Ukrainka, Shestakovo, and Cherkasski Tyshky, Ukraine’s General Staff said in a Facebook post on May 6.

According to the message, Russian forces near Kharkiv continue to receive reinforcements from Russia’s Belgorod region.

Some remote towns in the region remain blockaded by the Russians. The enemy continues to fire at Ukrainian troops, and has attempted to advance towards Nova Dmytrivka, without success.
