Over the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian military has repelled Russian attacks near the settlements of Stelmakhivka and Bilohorivka in Luhansk Oblast, as well as Verkhnyokamianske, Soledar, Nevelske, Maryinka and Pervomaiske in Donetsk Oblast, Ukraine’s General Staff reported on Facebook on Nov. 17.
Russian troops also shelled multiple targets:
In the Sloboda direction — from mortars and barrel artillery in the districts of Staritsa and Ambarne settlements in Kharkiv Oblast;
In the Kupyansk and Lyman directions — from tanks and artillery of various types near the settlements of Kupyansk, Kyslivka, Krokhmalne, Berestov, Novoselivske, Stelmakhivka, Makiivka, and Ploshanka;
Video of dayIn the Bakhmut direction — from tanks and various artillery near the settlements of Serebryanka, Spirne, Rozdolivka, Yakovlivka, Soledar, Bakhmutske, Bakhmut, Opytne, Zelenopillia, Andriivka, Kurdyumivka, and Ozaranivka;
In the Avdiivka direction — from tanks, mortars, barrel and rocket artillery near New York, Krasnohorivka, Kamianka, Avdiivka, Pervomaisky, Nevelsky and Maryinka;
In the Novopavlivsk direction — from artillery of various types near Vuhledar, Bohoyavlenka, Prechystivka, and Vremivka;
In the Zaporizhzhya direction — from tanks and various artillery near the settlements of Huliyapole, Novoandriivka and Shcherbaky;
In the Kherson direction, artillery shelling was recorded in the areas of Zelenivka, Chornobayivka, and Kherson. The settlements of Nikopol and Chervonohryhorivka, in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, were also hit by Russian barrel and rocket artillery.
Ukrainian aviation struck two anti-aircraft missile system positions over the past day.
Meanwhile, Ukrainian missile and artillery units struck two Russian command points, six enemy grouping of personnel, weapons, and military equipment, three ammunition warehouses, and another three critical Russian targets.
