Ukrainian troops have recaptured a number of previously lost areas of Severodonetsk from Russian invaders, thus nullifying the operational momentum of Russian troops, according to the latest report of by British intelligence posted on Twitter.

"Over the last 24 hours, Ukrainian forces have counterattacked in the contested city of Severodonetsk in eastern Ukraine, likely blunting the operational momentum Russian forces previously gained through concentrating combat units and firepower," the June 5 report reads.

British intelligence also noted that the Kremlin regime prefers to use so-called reservists from the occupied Donbas to storm Severodonetsk in order to reduce the official losses of the Russian Armed Forces.
