Ukraine has returned the bodies of 82 more soldiers who fell defending their country against the full-scale war unleashed by Russia, the Ministry of Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories reported on April 14.

The bodies of the service members were transferred from the temporarily occupied territories in accordance with the Geneva Convention. This was done with the participation of the Office of the Commissioner for Missing Persons under the Ministry of Reintegration in cooperation with law enforcement agencies.

The country received the bodies of 83 slain Ukrainian soldiers on March 24. In June 2022, Ukraine and Russia exchanged the bodies of fallen service members for the first time under the 160-for-160 formula.

The process has continued since that time.
