Ukraine’s Armed Forces say they have eliminated deputy commander of the Russian Black Sea Fleet

The Ukrainian army has killed a Russian officer, Captain 1st Rank Andrey Paliy, who served as the deputy commander of Russia’s Black Sea Fleet in the capacity of a political officer, Ukraine’s Ground Forces said on March 20.

Meanwhile, on March 18, Russian Lieutenant General Andrey Mordvichev was killed in a Ukrainian air strike on an airfield in Chernobaivka, Kherson oblast.

Earlier reports suggest that five Russian Major Generals have been killed in action in Ukraine: Oleg Mityaev, Andrey Kolesnikov, Vitaliy Gerasimov, Andrey Sukhovetskiy, and Mahomed Tushaev.
