Ukraine’s FC Shakhtar pays $5.8 million in taxes in 2022

Ukrainian Football Club Shakhtar Donetsk paid UAH 213.7 million ($5.8 million) in taxes to the state budget in 2022, the club’s press service reported on March 1.
Tax payments were transferred to local and central budgets, it said.
Earlier, after the record transfer of Mykhailo Mudryk to UK FC Chelsea, president of FC Shakhtar Donetsk, Ukrainian businessman Rinat Akhmetov transferred UAH 1 billion ($27.3 million) to the Ukrainian Army.
