About 17,200 Russian invaders have been killed since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale war against Ukraine, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine wrote on Facebook on March 28.
The total combat losses of the enemy from Feb. 24 to March 29 are the following:
personnel – about 17,200;
tanks ‒ 597;
APCs – 1,710;
artillery systems – 303;
MLRS (Multiple Launch Rocket Systems) – 96;
anti-aircraft systems – 54;
aircraft – 127;
helicopters – 129;
vehicles – 1,178;
boats / motor boats – 7;
UAV operational-tactical level – 71;
special equipment – 21;
mobile SRBM (short-range ballistic missile) systems – 4.
March 29 is the 34th day of a full-scale war against Russia.
Invading Russian forces are present on Ukrainian territory in the north, east and south, shelling peaceful cities throughout Ukraine with artillery, and bombing them from the air.
Since the beginning of the war, the most difficult situations have been observed in Kharkiv, Chernihiv, Sumy, Mariupol, Kyiv and the capital's outskirts.
The Russian invaders are also trying to occupy the territories of Donetsk and Luhansk Oblasts that have remained under Ukrainian government control since the start of the war in 2014.
