Russian invaders failed to destroy any HIMARS missile system, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine confirmed in its post on Twitter on Nov. 6.
“Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Ukraine has not lost a single HIMARS, but Russia has lost humanity and dignity. Not to mention the hundreds of thousands of tons of munitions and thousands of soldiers they sent to certain death,” the ministry said.
U.S. newspaper Politico, citing a high-ranking official of the U.S. Defense Ministry, reported on Nov. 4 that the Russians failed to destroy any of the HIMARS missile systems that the U.S. supplied to Ukraine.
In total, Ukraine received 20 highly mobile HIMARS launchers, which were withdrawn from the U.S.’s own stocks.
