Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal met with Pope Francis at the Vatican, Italy’s ANSA news agency reported on April 27.

The Ukrainian prime minister invited Pope Francis to Ukraine, according to Ukraine’s Ambassador to the Holy See, Andrii Yurash.

“The Holy Father has been invited again,” the diplomat told ANSA.

“This invitation has already been given several times and (will) certainly (be) given again.”
